By now, we've read that first "Crazy Love" chapter. Here's some thoughts that resonated with me and I underlined.
The wise man comes to God without saying a word and stands in awe of Him.
....have we ever marveled at it?
....living it out is challenging...
Shouldn't it be easy to love a God so wonderful?
...we have to intentionally and consistently remind ourselves of Him.
We are programmed to focus on what we don't have,...
GOD IS HOLY.
We don't get to decide who God is.
"I am who I am"
We don't change that.
"holy" = no one to compare Him to
Isn't it a comfort to worship a God we cannot exaggerate? (really good thought to me)
God exists outside of time, and since we are within time, there is no way we will ever totally grasp that concept.
GOD IS ALL KNOWING
Each of us, to some degree, fool our friends and family about who we really are. Bit it's impossible to do that with God.
When I grow weary of trying to be faithful to Him and want a break, it doesn't come as a surprise to God.
For David, God's knowledge led him to worship.
GOD IS ALL-POWERFUL.
...we are in no place to demand that He give an account to us.
Can you worship a God who isn't obligated to explain His actions to you?
GOD IS FAIR AND JUST
....when you get your own universe, you can make your own standards.

I'm asking God right now to be speaking to us through the things we are reading. He will, if we are trying. He wants to.
I leave in about an hour and a half to go to the airport. I will try to keep blogging every day.

1. stay on this "Crazy Love" journey with me. please.
2. encourage one another. especially those who will be speaking and leading while I am gone. That is super important.
3. love one another.
4. stay in touch here as you have a spare minute.
